Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our team.
- As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications that power our products and services.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in backend technologies and a passion for building robust and scalable systems.
Salary: 750,000 - 761,658 Nigerian Nairas / month
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Develop backend services and APIs using a variety of programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
- Integrate data storage solutions, including relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby).
- Experience with backend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js).
- Familiarity with databases and data modeling concepts, both relational and non-relational.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in utilizing Celery for task queue management and asynchronous task execution
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
