Job Description

  • As a Biomedical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and effectiveness of our medical equipment.
  • You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of biomedical devices.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Installation and Maintenance:

  • Install, test, and commission medical equipment and devices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.

Calibration and Testing:

  • Perform regular calibration and testing of biomedical equipment.
  • Document calibration procedures and maintain accurate records.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with medical equipment.
  • Execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in product testing and validation processes.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
  • Offer technical support to internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years work eperience.
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate should reside in Lagos
