Role Overview

  • As a Brand Strategist, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the identity of our innovative tech dating platform before it takes center stage. You'll work closely with the marketing team to understand the target audience, craft a compelling brand narrative, and develop pre-launch communication strategies.

Responsibilities

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

  • Assist with conducting market research to understand the dating app landscape, user demographics, and psychographics of your target audience.
  • Analyze competitor apps to identify their brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Compile competitive analysis reports highlighting key insights and potential differentiators for your brand.

Brand Development & Messaging:

  • Work with the brand strategist to develop the brand identity, including the brand name, tagline, and core brand values.
  • Craft compelling brand messaging that resonates with the target audience and effectively communicates the platform's unique value proposition.
  • Develop brand voice and tone guidelines to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials.

Pre-Launch Marketing & Brand Awareness:

  • Research and identify creative and cost-effective ways to build brand awareness pre-launch (e.g., social media marketing campaigns, influencer outreach).
  • Assist with developing content (e.g., blog posts, social media content) that aligns with the brand message and generates interest among the target audience.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of pre-launch marketing efforts and provide insights for optimization.

Additional Tasks:

  • Conduct research and stay updated on current dating app trends and marketing strategies.
  • Assist with creating presentations to communicate brand strategy to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for brand development.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in brand strategy, preferably in tech or digital products
  • Proven track record of developing successful brand strategies from concept to launch
  • Strong understanding of the dating app landscape and digital consumer behavior
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Creative thinking with a knack for developing unique brand positioning
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in creating compelling brand presentations and storytelling
  • Proficiency in brand strategy tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with design principles and their application in branding
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices
  • Experience working in fast-paced, pre-launch environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, and market research tools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the dating app or social networking industry
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they relate to branding
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Experience in startup environments
