Job description
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst with experience in Odoo or other ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and hands-on experience with implementing and optimizing ERP systems. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for ERP system implementation and improvements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
ERP System Implementation & Optimization:
- Work with Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar ERP systems to configure, customise, and optimise functionalities in alignment with business needs.
- Oversee system configuration, integration, and data migration efforts to ensure a seamless implementation.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies within ERP workflows.
- Recommend best practices and assist with business process reengineering to optimise system use.
Training & Support:
- Provide training to end-users on system functionalities and best practices to ensure efficient use of the ERP system.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for ERP-related issues and escalations.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse system data and business metrics to produce actionable insights for decision-making.
- Develop and generate custom reports to monitor system performance and business KPIs.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project scope, goals, and timelines.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to ensure continuous communication and feedback loops.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, customisations, and user manuals.
- Ensure that system modifications comply with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in ERP systems, particularly Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in system configuration, implementation, and process optimisation.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of ERP modules such as Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and CRM.
- Familiarity with data integration tools, reporting, and dashboard functionalities within ERP systems.
- Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence) and databases (SQL).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Odoo certification or Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification is a plus.
