JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse and interpret data related to sales, market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity.
- Generate regular reports that provide insights into business performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the cluster heads in monitoring key performance indicators across regions covered and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Strategic Support:
- Assist in the development of business strategies and action plans by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Work with regional and central teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements and man-power efficiency enhancements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
- Provide actionable recommendations and analytical support for ongoing business initiatives and projects.
- Facilitate the flow of information between departments, ensuring alignment on key projects and objectives.
- Process Improvement & Change Management:
- Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
- Propose data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve decision-making processes.
- Ad-hoc Analysis & Problem-Solving:
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reports as needed to support urgent business decisions or regional initiatives.
- Proactively identify business challenges and work with the cluster heads to resolve them effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions and regions.
