Isabena Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF) is a non-profit and a non-governmental organization founded in 2020 as Isabena Foundation before its incorporated by Corporate Affair Commission CAC with Registration Number (CAC/IT/7410185) in 2024. Our core mission is to Lift community health standards and food security through approaches encompassing core creation, advocacy, health promotion and education, community development, capacity building, program evaluation, impact assessments, needs analysis, surveys, systems strengthening, and targeted service delivery. Our focus extends particularly to the vulnerable and marginalized populations in Nigeria and beyond.

Job Summary:

The Communication Volunteer will support the organization’s internal and external communication efforts by creating content, managing communication platforms, promoting programs, and strengthening the organization’s public image. The role helps increase visibility, engagement, and stakeholder awareness

Key Responsilities

  • Content Creation
  • Develop social media content (captions, graphics, short videos) for Isabena Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF)
  • Write press releases and success stories for Isabena Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF)
  • Support development of promotional materials (flyers, brochures, posters)
  • Help Isabena Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF) promote social media & Digital Communication skills.
  • Manage and update social media accounts for Isabena Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF)
  • Schedule and publish posts regularly for Isabena Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF)
  • Respond to messages and comments (as guided)
  • Track and report on engagement metrics

Internal Communication

  • Support drafting internal announcements and updates
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports
  • Document events through photos, videos, and written summaries
  • Branding & Public Relations
  • Ensure communication materials align with brand guidelines
  • Assist in media outreach efforts
  • Support event publicity and campaign promotions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and storytelling ability
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  •  Attention to details with ability to meet deadlines

Academic qualification.

  • Diploma or recently completed a degree in communication, Business Administration or any related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in NGO
