About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Business Product Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of our digital banking and cross-border financial products. You will work across departments particularly with product management, engineering, compliance, operations, and business teams to ensure our solutions are user-focused, data-driven, and operationally efficient.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in product and business analysis, preferably within a FinTech or digital banking context. You will play a critical role in translating business requirements into technical deliverables, evaluating product performance, identifying areas for optimization, and ensuring alignment between user needs, regulatory requirements, and business goals.
In addition to your core analytical responsibilities, you will also contribute to day-to-day operational processes monitoring product performance, supporting system audits, resolving escalations, and collaborating on workflow improvements. Your insights will directly impact our product roadmap, customer experience, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Business Analysis
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for product and development teams.
- Work closely with the Product Manager to shape product features based on customer insights, market research, and usage data.
- Support the development and launch of FinTech and digital banking solutions including wallets, virtual cards, cross-border transfers, and FX services.
- Track and analyze product metrics (adoption, churn, feature usage) and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify product opportunities or gaps.
Operational Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations and Compliance teams to ensure products align with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Monitor transaction flows and user activity for operational bottlenecks or anomalies.
- Assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product processes and customer journeys.
- Participate in system audits, testing, and troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
- Escalate and follow up on product issues and operational failures with appropriate teams.
Compliance Support
- Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure products and processes are aligned with internal policies, financial regulations, and cross-border requirements.
- Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation required by regulators or auditors.
- Monitor and flag suspicious trends or activities from product data that may require further compliance investigation.
- Assist in implementing product-level controls for KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring.
- Contribute to regulatory gap assessments and compliance risk mitigation planning during product design and rollout.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on product features.
- Support internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Support, Risk) with data, training, and product updates.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards to aid in decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product analysis, business analysis, or operations in a FinTech, digital bank, or financial institution.
- Experience working on financial technology products such as cross-border payments, digital wallets, virtual banking, or FX platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with APIs, system workflows, and financial transaction systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of KYC/AML compliance and regulatory requirements in digital banking.
- Understanding of customer support platforms (e.g., Zendesk) and CRM tools.
