The CCTV technician is responsible for CCTV installation, service, and maintenance at various locations in DCT. The CCTV technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security within DCT.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and repair CCTV equipment and systems.
- Conduct surveys, plan and perform installations of various CCTV systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on surveillance cameras and systems, including backups and software updates.
- Diagnose and repair faults in cameras, cable, lens and other components.
- Work with the head of department to design, develop and implement customized CCTV solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new CCTV technologies and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or HND from a reputable institution in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a CCTV installation and maintenance role.
- Strong understanding of CCTV technology, equipment and systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults in cameras, cable, lens and other components.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
