JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director in developing financial plans.
  • Summarize the organization’s current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements and other reports.
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Ensure proper allocation of resources and advice on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Ensure deductions and prompt remittance of necessary schedules and various statutory deductions i.e. VAT, PAYEE, CIT, pension Fund etc.
  • Perform statistical, cost and financial analysis of financial reports and data, and prepares subsequent narrative analysis for management & investors alike.
  • Periodic audit of departmental processes, also interfacing with external auditors.
  • Lead and mentor cross functional departments ensuring that direct reports are developing on the job.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and operational challenges.
  • Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure liquidity and support ongoing operations and investments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.Sc or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 10-15 years extensive experience in financial management, including previous roles as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar position.
  • Knowledge of accounting, state and federal tax law remittance and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and experience with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
