Job Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage the organization’s Integrated Management System (IMS) standards to ensure compliance and security.
- Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls to protect the organization’s network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Develop and enforce firewall policies and rules to ensure secure access controls across all systems.
- Integrate firewalls into network infrastructures to strengthen security.
- Conduct penetration testing on IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
- Manage and configure the organization’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Monitor security logs and alerts, analyzing data for signs of suspicious activity or potential breaches.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees to ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Collaborate with IT, development, and other departments to integrate security measures into all processes, systems, and applications.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong IT expertise, with in-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach to solving security challenges.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in IT systems and security architecture.
- Forensic thinking to address complex security issues and threats.
- Strong understanding of the latest trends and tactics used by cybercriminals, and the ability to stay ahead of evolving threats.
- Proficiency in identifying vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures and recommending remediation strategies.
- Extensive experience in managing SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, and other cybersecurity technologies.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in information security role.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and others
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent are high advantage.
