???????Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.
- Oversee architecture standards, system resilience, and critical code/design reviews.
- Partner with product and design teams to deliver customer-driven solutions.
- Champion engineering best practices: automation, observability, testing, and reliability.
- Drive security and compliance initiatives in line with global standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent while building high-performing teams.
- Manage budgets, vendors, and cloud resources effectively.
- Represent the technology agenda with external partners, vendors, and regulators.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Master’s degree (MSc/MBA) in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
- 10-15+ years of proven engineering/technical leadership experience leading a highly efficient team
- Proven track record delivering high-throughput, low-latency systems at scale (ideally within fintech or payments).
- Hands-on expertise in Java/JVM technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus) and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with modern cloud-native infrastructure (AWS or similar, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD).
- Familiarity with data streaming, databases, caching, and observability tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build secure, compliant systems in regulated environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align technical and business priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Kotlin, Go, or Python, coupled with strong experience in front-end technologies and fraud/risk system
