Job Summary
- The CTO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technological vision, overseeing all technical aspects of the business, and ensuring the effective integration of innovative technologies to achieve organizational goals.
- This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of the company’s e-commerce platform and technology infrastructure.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Drive the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems to support business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with marketing, operations, and customer service goals.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for all technology projects.
- Establish and maintain best practices for software development, system architecture, and IT operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the company remains at the forefront of e-commerce innovation.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a CTO or similar capacity within the e-commerce industry (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA or advanced technical certifications are a plus).
- Strong expertise in e-commerce platforms, digital payments, logistics integration, and web/mobile application development.
- Proven experience with cloud computing, AI/ML, and big data analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations.
