Job Summary
- The CTO is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership across all aspects of technology development and implementation.
- You will oversee the software development process, from project initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and timelines.
- Additionally, you will lead the recruitment, training, and development of technical talent, foster a culture of innovation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Scope and Impact
- As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of the company, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions.
- They will lead a team of software developers and engineers, oversee projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high[1]quality software products that meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Strategic thinking
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
