Job Summary
- We seek a passionate and experienced Communications and Brand Manager to join our team and help us elevate our brand, engage our stakeholders, and amplify our impact.
Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Communication Strategies:
- Create and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with Illmi Children's Fund's mission and goals.
- Identify and target key messages and audiences for each campaign.
Enhance Brand Awareness and Reputation:
- Ensure consistent and positive representation of Illmi Children's Fund's brand across all communication channels.
- Increase brand recognition and positive sentiment among target audiences through strategic communication efforts.
Expand Media Coverage and Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Secure regular, positive media coverage to highlight Illmi Children's Fund's work and impact.
Increase Social Media Engagement and Produce High-Quality Content:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy to grow Illmi Children's Fund's online presence and engagement.
- Create compelling and informative content for newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and social media.
- Collaborate with designers to produce visually appealing materials that support Illmi Children's Fund’s campaigns.
Monitor and Analyze Communication Efforts:
- Track and evaluate the performance of communication strategies and campaigns.
- Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of different channels and adjust strategies accordingly.
Support Fundraising and Internal Communications:
- Develop communication materials that support fundraising efforts and grant applications.
- Ensure clear and consistent internal communication within the organization.
- Engage stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and partners, with updates on Illmi Children's Fund’s activities and achievements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in communications, brand management, or a relevant field.
- Proven track record of successful communication campaigns.
- Experience in content creation (writing, editing, video production) for various audiences.
- Expertise in social media management and marketing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to adapt to changing trends and technologies in communications and branding.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and strategies.
- Capability to develop and implement communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Strong understanding of content calendars and editorial workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.

- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
Skills and Tools:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

- Familiarity with communication tools like Slack or WhatsApp.
- Basic knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, In-video, Etc.
- Experience with social media management platforms and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Preferred: Experience in graphic design or video editing software, and knowledge of SEO.
