Position Overview:
- As a Communications Associate at OOH Academy, you will play a crucial role in developing engaging content and fostering effective communication strategies.
- You will be responsible for creating multimedia content, including videos, written materials, and graphics, to promote our programs and initiatives.
- Additionally, you will assist in managing our communication channels, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality video content, including promotional videos, educational tutorials, and event coverage.
- Write engaging copy for social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and press releases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop content strategies aligned with marketing and communication objectives.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of content across different channels, providing insights for optimization.
- Contribute to the development of brand identity and voice through creative storytelling and visual presentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content creation and communications.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing administrative tasks, coordinating office supplies and equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and correspondence, both internally and externally, and respond promptly and professionally to requests for information or assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases, including project documents, financial records, and administrative paperwork, in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff, partners, and visitors, and coordinate coordination for events, workshops, and conferences as needed.
- Provide administrative support to senior management and program staff, including drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and assisting with special projects or initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- Proficiency in videography, video editing, and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Experience in content creation for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and strategies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Passion for storytelling and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in office management software and applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a challenging environment.
