Job Description

  • The Communications Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in public relations, media relations, and corporate communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic communication plan that enhances the hospital’s brand and reputation.
  • Craft compelling content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and internal communications.
  • Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and maintaining relationships with journalists.
  • Oversee the hospital’s digital presence, including website content and social media channels.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage events, including press conferences, product launches, and corporate events.
  • Handle crisis communication and provide counsel to senior leadership during high-stakes situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
