Job Description

  • The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with Glocient’s objectives.
  • This role will involve creating engaging content, managing internal and external communications, and enhancing the company's brand image across various platforms.
  • Develop, write, and edit various types of content, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, and website copy.
  • Manage media relations, plan and coordinate company events, including press conferences, product launches, and community outreach activities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the company intranet and internal communication channels.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product teams, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.
  • Conduct research to support communication strategies and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Draft and distribute internal communications such as memos, emails, and announcements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of branding and corporate identity principles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
