About the job:
At Zap Africa, we're at the forefront of blockchain technology, aspiring to drive transformative change across industries. We're looking to add a talented Community Coordinator to our team to accelerate our mission and increase our efficiency.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement strategies to foster a sense of belonging among our community members
- Planning, promoting, and executing community events, both in-person and virtual
- Engage with community members on social media platforms to foster meaningful interactions and gather feedback
- Create and curate content for social media posts, blog articles, and newsletters to keep the community informed and engaged
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of community initiatives
- Monitor and analyze community feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth
- Support the Marketing team in other tasks and projects as needed
What we seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms (WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, etc)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact
- Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and visual.
- A collaborative mindset, eager to work with teams across different departments and domains.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work autonomously in a remote setup.
