Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating computer systems, monitoring performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and errors to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and software updates.
Data Entry and Processing:
- Enter data accurately into computer systems and databases.
- Verify data integrity and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Generate reports and analyze data as needed.
IT Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding software, hardware, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot computer problems and escalate complex issues to IT specialists or vendors.
- Assist in resolving IT-related emergencies and outages.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of system operations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Prepare and update documentation for standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Generate reports on system performance, usage statistics, and trends.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1-2 years experience.
