Job Description
- Create content strategies for the organization.
- Write creative and unique content as well as come up with innovative ideas.
- Follow all SEO practices while producing content.
- Rewrite old content on all company’s website to give it a fresh touch
- Write technical content for organization products and services.
- Proofread content written and ensure it is compelling and professional.
- Stay up to date with various methods to create engaging and attractive content
- Create unique, user-friendly, and informative content while adhering to the best SEO practices
- Create graphics, choose photos for the content, and work on web page layout
- Check the quality and accuracy of content prior to publication
- Publish and promote content on numerous social media outlets
- Analyze the performance of content based on multiple KPIs, such as unique pageviews, conversion rates, and the average time on page
- Identify content setbacks and effectiveness, and determine the best content strategy moving forward
- Writing compelling brand/advert stories for all company’s brand.
- Design social media/communication strategies to achieve marketing targets.
- Manage, create and publish original, high-quality content.
- Administer all company communication accounts ensuring up-to-date content.
- Boost company’s image through well packaged creative contents, banners, billboards etc. in other to create a positive perception in the minds of the public about the company.
- Ensure company profiles, proposals, and official correspondences are professionally written and have the right content and passes the right and compelling message to the client or public.
- Gather feedback from sales and analyze consumer behavior to define our company’s positioning
- Craft our differentiation strategy
- Create guidelines that define our company’s voice both online and offline (including terminology and slogans)
- Brief our creative team about marketing projects they’ll be working on (for example ebooks, email campaigns and advertising banners)
- Conduct competitive research to identify our strengths and weaknesses
- Design promotional campaigns for new products and markets
- Develop our social media strategy
- Assess the performance of our advertising campaigns and events
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities and challenges
- Writing letters and creating compelling proposals, and other forms of external communications
- Establish good correspondence with international organisation/embassies for partnership
- Create content for website, social media and other company's media platforms
Requirements
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Communication / Marketing / Advertising or relevant field
- 6+ years Work experience as a content and Brand Strategist or similar role in Marketing
- Portfolio of brand-building projects is a MUST.
- Good grasp of SEO and HTML
- Working knowledge of content management software, such as WordPress and Joomla
- Mastery of graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver
- A keen eye for detail, ability to multitask, and strong analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Experience developing marketing strategies based on market segmentation
- Data-driven thinking
- Creative and strategic mindset.
- Excellent Communication, writing and presentation skills.
