Job Summary
The Content Strategy and Copywriting Lead will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our content marketing initiatives. Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and a proven track record of creating compelling, engaging content across our various channels. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of content strategy, copywriting, and our brand messaging.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and target audiences, and conduct thorough research to identify content opportunities, industry trends, and keywords for SEO optimization.
- Lead the creation of SEO-optimized content for various digital channels, including blog posts, website pages, and social media. Stay updated on SEO best practices and algorithms to enhance online visibility.
- Collaborate with product teams and clients to create compelling case studies that showcase the effectiveness and success of our products/services. Transform technical information into accessible and engaging case study narratives.
- Lead the development of in-depth white papers that explore industry trends, thought leadership, and provide valuable insights to our audience. Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and depth in white paper content.
- Manage and mentor a team of content and copywriters, providing guidance on projects, quality control, and professional development. Conduct regular team meetings to align on content strategies and share best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. Coordinate with external partners and agencies when needed for specialized content projects.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Implement A/B testing and other optimization strategies to enhance content effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 4+ years proven experience in content writing, with a focus on SEO, case studies, and white papers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with SEO tools and content management systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
