As a Corporate Communication Associate at Credit Direct Finance Company Limited, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our corporate image, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and supporting our mission to become the foremost lending and technology company in Nigeria. This role requires a strategic communicator with a blend of creativity and business acumen to ensure our messages resonate with both internal and external audiences. In this role, you will be operating as the departmental HR expert, to advise, guide and support staff and managers by providing high level people management and development support across designated divisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Craft compelling messages that effectively communicate the company's brand, values, and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging across various channels.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Draft press releases, media kits, and other materials to proactively promote the company's achievements, initiatives, and milestones.
  • Monitor media coverage and respond to inquiries in a timely and strategic manner.
  • Develop and execute internal communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Create content for internal newsletters, announcements, and other communication channels.
  • Facilitate communication training and workshops to enhance internal communication skills.
  • Identify key stakeholders and develop communication strategies to engage and build positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with product team development teams to create communication plans for partnerships and collaborations.
  • Safeguard and enhance the company's brand reputation through effective communication.
  • Work with design and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all communication materials.
  • Manage the company's digital communication channels, including the website and social media platforms.
  • Create engaging content for online platforms to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
  • Develop post-event communication strategies to maximize impact.

JOB EXPERIENCE

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in corporate communication, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the financial and technology industries is key.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry is a plus.
