Job Overview:
- This role is responsible for the secure interpretation, validation, and preparation of customer-submitted job files and data uploads, which are essential to the accurate personalization of financial payment cards. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting operational efficiency by collaborating closely with both clients and internal teams..
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and interpret customer-uploaded job files and data for use in card personalization processes.
- Manage the secure transfer of customer data using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), ensuring data confidentiality and integrity during transmission.
- Validate file structures, data accuracy, and formatting against internal standards and card scheme requirements.
- Convert and map customer data to internal templates for use by the Personalization Engineering team.
- Conduct thorough data quality checks to identify and resolve anomalies, errors, or missing fields.
- Collaborate with the personalization team to ensure seamless workflow integration and job readiness.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and audit trails in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate with clients to clarify data specifications or resolve file-related issues as needed.
- Support automation initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of data processing tools and templates.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and simple formulas.
- Willingness to learn how to use SFTP for secure file transfers and work with sensitive customer data.
- Ability to understand and work with structured data formats such as CSV or text files.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling data.
- Willingness to learn data validation techniques and file formatting best practices.
- Good problem-solving mindset with a logical approach to identifying data inconsistencies.
- Eagerness to learn industry standards such as PCI DSS and card data handling protocols.
