Job Summary

  • The Assistant Manager – IT Solutions is responsible for overseeing IT operations, managing IT projects, and implementing technology solutions that enhance business performance.
  • This role involves supervising IT teams, ensuring infrastructure reliability, and aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including network, hardware, software, and systems management.
  • Manage and implement IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to IT support and technical teams.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and recommend appropriate solutions. • Ensure system security, data protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support.
  • Lead initiatives for process automation, IT optimization, and technology upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide strategic solutions to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support, IT management, or IT solutions delivery.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified, Cisco, or CompTIA are an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in network management, server administration, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Ability to manage software deployments, system upgrades, and IT projects.
  • Familiarity with database management, virtualization, and IT automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.

Soft Skills:
