The Role

  • The Data Analyst/Reporting - will work with the Supply Chain office, reporting to the Procurement Lead and assist in ensuring that the company's objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare presentations or report as requested for executive-level communication using PowerBI and Tableau which provides actionable insight for decision making.
  • Identify valuable insights from mathematical or statistical treatment of available data to ensure a smoother ramp-up period for the terminal.
  • Manage a high-volume workload proactively to consistently high standards, by setting priorities, objectives, and target dates.
  • Utilize process improvement approaches in all aspects of work; identify and implement efficient administrative practices and anticipate future support needs.
  • Support various improvement/optimization efforts by providing the voice of data.
  • Act as a sparring partner for management in providing data-based insights in various operational areas.
  • Collaborate with departments to further develop the Business Intelligent solution.
  • Serve as the focal person/super user promoting the self-service Business Intelligent solution and supporting the organization's learning curve.
  • Oversee the reporting of all operational performance indicators both internally and externally.
  • Fulfill the Tender Buyer role in the Procurement unit.
  • Deliver visualizations up to par when required.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate or equivalent in relevant fields of study.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and other statistical tools.
  • More than 2 years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate existing tools and databases and provide software solutions recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good team player with the autonomy and motivation to produce individually.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and quickly assimilate information/instructions.
  • Experience in the Procurement/Supply chain field is a great plus (knowledge of Procurement basics is necessary).
  • Strong team ethics and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
