Role Overview
We are seeking a Field Market Intelligence & Consumer Research Analyst to support our commercial and product strategy through on-ground market visits, competitive intelligence, and consumer testing. You’ll play a hands-on role gathering actionable insights from across key markets to guide internal decisions. This role requires frequent field travel (up to 1–2 months at a time), especially across major cities and open markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to track retail execution, competitor activities, and product performance.
- Lead consumer research sessions (interviews, focus groups, testing).
- Monitor pricing trends, packaging comparisons, and promotional activities.
- Compile insights and recommendations in clear reports for marketing, product, and sales teams.
- Build and update dashboards using Excel or Power BI.
- Maintain strong coordination with field sales and trade marketing teams.
Requirements
- 2–4 years in market research, sales analysis, or trade marketing (FMCG preferred).
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-driven with strong reporting discipline.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work independently in field locations.
