Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and BI Infrastructure: Take ownership of the reporting infrastructure, ensuring it delivers actionable insights to both internal teams and customers.
- Data Model Enhancement: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine and expand the data model to support new features and improve scalability.
- Analytics Leadership: Become the go-to expert for analytics across the company, driving the use of data in strategic decision-making and feature development.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance business operations.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Experience with Databases: Minimum 3 years of experience working with large datasets in Postgres or MySQL, including schema design, performance tuning, and complex query management.
- Startup Enthusiasm: A knack for navigating the fast-paced, evolving startup environment while effectively managing priorities and creating organized workflows.
- Continuous Improvement: A proactive approach towards advocating for best practices and the development of scalable and sustainable data systems.
