Jubaili Agrotec ltd was established in 2002 (in Nigeria) by the sons of Abdullatif Jubaili as the fruit of their strong solid experience in the field of agriculture and of their reliable sources for quality products such as: Agricultural Pesticides, Agricultural, Insecticides, Agricultural Herbicides, Feed additives ... etc The first branch was established in Kano, the Capital of the North that covers around 60% of the agriculture in Nigeria. In 2004, the company opened its second branch in Ibadan in order to cover the South of Nigeria. The third branch was opened in Abuja in 2010 to cover the middle belt of Nigeria.
Job Summary
- We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Collection Clerk to manage and execute data collection activities.
- This role involves gathering, organizing, and validating data from various sources to support research and analysis efforts.
- The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to data handling.
Key Responsibilities
Data Gathering:
- Collect data from primary and secondary sources, including surveys, and databases.
- Ensure data is collected accurately and in accordance with predefined protocols and methodologies.
Basic Analysis:
- Assist in generating simple reports and summaries based on data.
- Support the analysis of data trends and patterns under the guidance of senior analysts
Data Entry and Daily Routine:
- Input collected data into Excel sheets or spreadsheets, maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency.
- Organize and store data files in an orderly manner for easy retrieval and analysis.
- Review data for completeness, accuracy, and relevance.
- Perform daily checks and validations to identify and rectify any data discrepancies or errors.
Reporting:
- Assist in preparing preliminary reports or summaries based on the collected data on daily basis.
- Provide support in analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
- Follow ups:
- Work with sales teams to explain their data rations on daily basis.
- Communicate any data collection issues or improvements to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: University diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or coursework in Data Management, Research, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: 0 - 2 years of experience in data collection, research, or a similar role. Internships or relevant academic projects are beneficial.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data entry tools.
- Basic understanding of data collection methods and practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience with data management software or databases is a plus.
