Role Overview:
- The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and maintain a robust data pipeline system that seamlessly connects various applications to Firebase.
- This pipeline will further integrate with Google Analytics and other visualization platforms such as Sheets or Luca, while also leveraging BigQuery for advanced data processing and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipeline architecture to connect diverse applications to Firebase.
- Develop connectors and APIs to facilitate smooth data flow between different systems and Firebase.
- Integrate Google Analytics into the data pipeline to gather insights and metrics efficiently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize BigQuery for data processing, transformation, and analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Optimize data pipeline performance for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes or improvements.
- Document pipeline processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and building data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Firebase, Google Analytics, BigQuery, and other relevant data technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modeling principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar is a plus.
