Job Description:
As a Data Collection Intern at HelpMum, you will play a vital role in supporting our various projects by collecting, organizing, and managing field data from communities. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in maternal and child health, data, and management.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately document and input data into HelpMum’s systems.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
- Collaborate with the research and technology teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Provide timely reports on data collection progress and any challenges faced.
- Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the use of data collection tools (e.g., tablets, smartphones).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within Lagos for fieldwork.
