Description:
- NBU is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Manager to join our Information and Computer Technology (ICT) department.
- As a Data Management & Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing data management and technical support services to ensure the effective use of data and information
systems within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data management policies, procedures, and standards.
- Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by performing data validation, data cleansing, and data normalization tasks.
- Data Analysis: Provide basic data analysis and reporting services to support business decision-making.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to users on data management systems, tools, and processes.
- System Administration: Assist in the administration of data management systems, including user management, data backups, and system updates.
- Data Governance: Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in data management, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills in data management systems, tools, and technologies, such as databases, data warehouses, and data visualization tools.
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Certified Data Manager (CDM) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or equivalent preferred.
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills, including data visualization and statistical analysis..
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
