  • We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher to join our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT and education, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for fostering civic responsibility and engagement among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Delivery:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards for civic education.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to address different learning styles and abilities.
  • Incorporate discussions, debates, projects, and interactive activities to enhance student understanding of civic concepts.

Student Assessment and Feedback:

  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student knowledge and understanding of computer
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.

Classroom Management:

  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Establish and maintain clear expectations for behavior and classroom conduct.
  • Address any disciplinary issues promptly and in accordance with school policies.

Student Support and Engagement:

  • Identify and support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring additional help or those who are gifted and talented.
  • Encourage and motivate students to engage actively in their learning.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Parental and Community Involvement:

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, achievements, and concerns.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and community activities.
  • Build positive relationships with the school community to support student success.

Resource Management:

  • Manage classroom resources, including textbooks, materials, and supplies.
  • Ensure the safe and proper use of all educational equipment and facilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) (required).

Experience:

  • Experience teaching at the secondary school level (preferred).
  • Practical experience in civic engagement, community service, or related fields (preferred).
