Responsabilities:
- Exploit and interpret data.
- Translate business problems into mathematical and statistical ones, in order to provide reports to guide management decision-making.
- Improve performance and marketing strategies using data.
- Use machine learning techniques to predict future trends and optimize strategies across our business units.
- Ensure data quality and integrity, including data cleansing, preparation and exploration.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in data science and machine learning.
- Identification of analysis tools.
- Management of data storage solutions
- Gathering and analyzing business-relevant data
- Building algorithms to improve search and targeting results
- Development of predictive models to anticipate changes in data and trends
- Creation of customized dashboards to make results readable and exploitable by all business functions
- Technology watch (data collection, processing platforms, experimentation).
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Present complex results in an understandable way to facilitate data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate actions with the various business teams to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, big data, or related field.
- At least 4 years’ significant experience in the field, preferably in a SaaS company.
- Expertise in Machine Learning algorithms and programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Knowledge of data management tools and databases.
- Expertise in web analysis.
- Analytical skills, enabling him/her to identify and understand the company’s business issues.
- Rigorous, organized and laser focus.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling him/her to make his/her work intelligible to as many people as possible and to convince decision-makers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex results effectively to non-technical audiences.
