ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Data Support Officer will be responsible for conducting surveys with selected study participants accordin g to the approved sampling plan and data collection protocol.
  • Enumerators may also assist with identifying study participants, scheduling interviews. and suppoting logistical coordination where necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administering structured questionnaires using the designated digital data collection platform (e.g., CommCare).
  • Ensuring that all study participants provide informed consent before participating in the survey.
  • Conducting interviews ina professional, respectful, and neutral manner.
  • Ensuring accurate and complete recording of responses in thedigital survey tool.
  • Uploading completed surveys in a timely manner according to project guidelines.
  • Reporting any challenges or inconsisten Cies encountered du ring fieldwork to supervisors.
  • Adhering to all data protection, safeguarding, and ethical standards.
  • Enumerator must complywith all Mastercard foundation safeguarding procedures.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

  • Ideal candidates should be early to mid- career field researchers with up to six (8) years of experience in survey data collection or field research.
  • Strong familiarity with digital data collection tools and fieldwork practices while remaining well suited to the intensive fieldwork schedules required during survey implementation.
  • Clue to the category of the respon dents (Target population), we encourage candidates between ages 18 and 36 to apply.

  • Enumerators must demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding principles and commit to upholding the organization's safeguarding policy while interacting with participants. particularly young and vulnerable individuals.
