Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and database optimization to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL (stored procedures, triggers, packages).
- Optimize SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and relationships to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with business applications.
- Manage database security, backups, and recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Support data migration, transformation, and integration activities when required.
- Document database designs, configurations, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Oracle database development.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming.
- Solid understanding of SQL optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle Database versions (11g, 12c).
- Good knowledge of database normalization, indexing, and partitioning.
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, or APEX (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exposure to ETL tools, data migration, and system integration (an advantage).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in an agile, team-oriented environment.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer Certification (OCA/OCP) is an added advantage.
