JOB SUMMARY
- The role holder oversees the development and execution of digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth across various online platforms. This role holder must lead a team, optimize digital campaigns, and analyze performance data to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
A typical day on the job will involve;
- Create and implement digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms to drive brand visibility and business growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the digital team to execute campaigns effectively.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns to maximize performance and ROI.
- Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Manage and allocate the digital marketing budget to ensure cost-efficiency and maximum impact.
- Optimize website and content for search engines (SEO) to drive organic traffic.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop engaging, brand-aligned digital content.
- Demonstrate strong storytelling skills to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and messages in a compelling and engaging manner across various platforms and mediums.
- Work with cross-functional teams (sales, product, creative) to align digital strategies with company objectives.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies to maintain innovative strategies.
- Use customer insights to tailor digital campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Expertise in digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and campaign optimization.
- Experience in managing and allocating digital marketing budgets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
