AugustSecrets is an Award-winning company started by a young woman who had her child, Jaden, outside her country, and on returning, bought all sorts of foods and baby care items for the baby to be weaned at 6 months, but he later rejected the foods. As a first time mother, she got frustrated as the child was starving, and then, this moved her to begin to find alternatives from African and Nigerian foodstuffs to make homemade meals for her son. At first, the child was a picky eater, but in-between the struggle and as the mother enrolled for a short course in nutrition, she was able to come up with naturally-made, nutritious meal ideas that the baby loved. He grew solely on the meals, and the mother began to sell to young mothers like her who needed the same help with their children.

- We are searching for a creative digital marketer to help grow our brand’s influence by developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
Job Responsibilities
- To manage the company's E-commerce and Digital Assets
- Creating infographics, other kind of designs, and running ads
- Collaborating with the digital sales executive to upsell, and cross-sell
- Creating attractive promotions to win and retain customers.
- Developing and executing the organisation’s annual digital marketing plan, including PPC, SEO, social media, Affiliates and display/re-targeting
- Devising innovative digital marketing campaigns, that feed into the organisation’s overarching marketing strategy
- Creating engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organisation’s online brand
- Implementing strategies to drive traffic to the organisation’s website, including SEO and PPC
- Creating and implementing a social media policy and framework for the organisation
- Moderating all social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
- Managing the digital marketing budget, including allocating budgets across different channels and platforms
- Identify trends and insights, optimize spend, and performance, and provide research reports on the trends and events.
- Producing regular digital dashboards for the Sales and Marketing Manager, reporting progress against set KPIs
- Working closely with colleagues in sales to ensure all activity is integrated
- Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
- Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
Requirements and Skills
- BSc in Marketing or a related field
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience in graphic design, video editing, and website management.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
