Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer to drive our online presence and engagement strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing, proficient in social media management, and adept at leveraging various digital channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement digital marketing strategies:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive digital marketing plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Utilize market research and audience insights to identify target demographics and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including social media, search engines, and display networks.

Manage social media presence:

  • Oversee the organization's presence on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including posts, videos, and graphics, to maintain an active and compelling social media presence.
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, responding promptly and appropriately to maintain positive interactions with followers.

Analyze and optimize performance:

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Sprout Social.
  • Identify trends and insights from data analysis to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Continuously test and iterate on digital marketing tactics and strategies to improve effectiveness and ROI.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices:

  • Keep abreast of developments in digital marketing, social media, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Attend industry conferences, webinars, and training sessions to expand knowledge and skills in digital marketing and social media management.

Collaborate cross-functionally:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content creation, design, and sales, to align digital marketing efforts with overall marketing initiatives and business goals.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed to execute digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
