Job Brief
- Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing/Social Media Consultant to join our dynamic team. The primary goal of this role is to leverage digital marketing strategies to generate qualified leads, follow up on these leads to convert them into sales and drive significant revenue growth.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing within the travel industry, proven success in social media management and advertising, and the ability to build and manage an engaged online community.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing to attract potential customers.
- Monitor and optimize digital campaigns to ensure they are cost-effective and deliver high ROI.
Lead Generation:
- Create targeted marketing campaigns t capture high-quality leads through various digital channels.
- Use data analytics and customer insights t refine targeting and improve lead-generation efforts.
- Collaborate with the sales team t ensure leads are effectively handed over for conversion.
Social Media Management and Growth:
- Engage and grow our social media handles (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) by creating and curating content that resonates with our target audience.
- Develop and execute social media strategies that increase followers, engagement, and brand loyalty.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner to build strong online communities.
Community Building and Management:
- Create and nurture a vibrant online community of travelers and customers who engage regularly with the brand.
- Manage online groups, forums, and communities, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging member interaction.
- organize virtual events, webinars, and discussions t engage community members and keep them active.
- Address community feedback and concerns, using insights to improve products, services, and marketing strategies.
Social Media/Online Advertising:
- Plan, executed, and optimized paid social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor ad performance and adjust strategies to maximize RI and achieve lead generation and sales goals.
- Stay updated on the latest social media ad trends and best practices to ensure our campaigns remain competitive and effective.
Lead Nurturing and Conversion:
- Implement automated email marketing and retargeting strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Follow up on leads via email, phone calls, and digital channels to qualify and convert them into sales.
- Wrk closely with the sales team to provide them with qualified leads and support them in closing deals.
Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and manage content for blogs, social media, email campaigns, and the company website t attract and engage potential clients.
- Ensure all content is aligned with the company’s brand and resonates with the target audience.
- Regularly update the company’s digital platforms with fresh and relevant content.
Revenue Growth:
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional travel services and products to existing clients.
- Analyze market trends and customer behavior to recommend strategies for revenue enhancement.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including metrics such as conversion rates, traffic, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports to management on the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and revenue growth.
- Use CRM and analytics tools to monitor and manage leads and sales performance.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital marketing and the travel industry.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Recommend new tools, platforms, or strategies to enhance digital marketing efforts.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, customer service, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Provide training and support to team members on digital marketing best practices.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the travel industry.
- Proven experience in generating and converting leads through digital channels.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media advertising, and email marketing.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing social media accounts and online communities.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, AdWords, CRM software, and social media platforms.

Education:

Compensation
- Salary N100,000 per month.
