Key Responsibilities:
- Upload and manage product images on the e-commerce platform.
- Ensure all images meet the required specifications and standards.
- Ensure images are correctly named, tagged and categorized for easy search.
- Make minor adjustments to product images (cropping, resizing, color correction etc.) using software such as adobe Photoshop, Canva or other editing tools.
- Organize and maintain a digital library of product images.
- Verify the quality and accuracy of images before uploading.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure consistency and accuracy of product images.
- Edit and enhance images as necessary to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to ensure images are aligned with product descriptions and marketing strategies.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of product listings.
- Ensure all product images are tagged correctly for SEO purposes.
- Stay updated with new tools and technologies to improve the image uploading process.
Requirement:
- A degree in Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, digital asset management, or a related field.
- Certification in graphic design, digital marketing will be added advantage.
- Experience with content management systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Knowledge of various image formats (JPENG, PNG, etc.)
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices.
