Key Responsibilities

As an EFT engineer, you will be responsible for providing second-level support to financial institutions who are using Interswitch solutions running from within their site. You will also be responsible for the following.

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Work independently to collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats.
  • Data Management: Support and enable others to use and benefit from existing data management systems.
  • Needs Assessment: Explore issues and/or needs to establish potential causes, related issues, and barriers.
  • Recommendations: Provide advice on designing new processes and systems to achieve professional standards and desired outcomes.
  • Solutions Analysis: Analyze specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.
  • Client & Customer Management (Internal): Help senior colleagues manage internal client and customer relationships by using sales/client systems and protocol
  • Insights and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.

What We're Looking For

Technical Requirements for 0-2 years’ Experience

  • Programming Fundamentals (Python, Java)
  • Basic SQL
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux
  • Troubleshooting Skills
  • Learning Agility

Technical Requirements For 3-5 Years’ Experience

  • Proven Experience in technical support/implementation (fintech/financial services preferred)
  • Programming Proficiency (Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Advanced SQL
  • Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Infrastructure Management
  • Advanced Troubleshooting
  • Tool & Technology Mastery (ticketing systems, monitoring tools)

Education – A first degree from a reputable institution
