We are a fast-growing NCC licensed Internet Service Provider and top provider of UNLIMITED INTERNET in Lagos and expanding coverage to Eastern and Southern Nigeria as well as other West African countries. In April 2019, Tizeti launched her VOIP service - WifiCall - which its app reached over 8,000 downloads at the end of July 2019. The VOIP service also serves more than 20 organizations'? internal/external communications system (July 2019). Expanding our vision further across Africa, Tizeti launched Tizeti Network Ghana Limited (GhanaWiFi.com) in July 2019, beginning operations in Accra.

Job Description

  • The field service engineer interacts with our customers and is responsible for the design, Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of wireless devices at client locations.
  • He/she will install new hardware and software and keep track of existing problems, solving complex local network issues within the customer's premises ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installation and configuration of customer premise equipment (CPE) at client locations.
  • Provide post-installation education to clients on simple troubleshooting
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues involving installations and internet connectivity.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and enter them in the database
  • Resolution of a trouble ticket
  • Application of configuration changes via our change control systems and processes.
  • Liaise with customer service and sales teams with regard to customer complaints and enquiries
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure uptime is maintained and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform equipment upgrade and configuration
  • Draft and submit reports.

Requirements

  • Must Possess a B.Sc (2.1) / HND (Upper credit) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge in networking will be an added advantage (Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills to understand issues customers have and to explain technical information to customers in clear terms
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues.
  • Time management skills to handle appointments and stay on schedule.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
