Job role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, analysing, and delivering accurate financial reports to support decision-making. This role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, and providing insights to improve financial performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support management in decision-making.
- Ensure financial data accuracy by reconciling transactions and validating reports.
- Work with multiple financial systems and data sources to extract meaningful insights.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports for auditors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Present financial insights and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Experience with Oracle, SAGE, is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent use of MS Office Suite
- Excellent Knowledge of Financial Systems / Programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
