Responsibilities
- Create user interface and experience aspects of web application
- Translate UI/UX designs wire frames into responsive and interactive web application and pages
- Build reusable codes and libraries for use
- Ensure fast reload times and smooth interactions by optimizing code and assets
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Work with back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Assist with architectural designs
- Upgrade and maintain web applications
Functional Competencies
- Proficiency in HTM, CSS, and JavaScript is essential
- Proven experience with front end frameworks /libraries like React on web applications
- Experience with web development and deployment
- Familiar with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross – browser compatibility
- Programming skill
