Job Objectives:
- The chosen candidate must be a proactive professional with demonstrable experience in developing both front-end and back-end architecture and management plan(s) for web and mobile applications.
- The role requires continuing and constant collaboration with internal stakeholders and product managers to ensure all deployed applications are fit for purpose and meets business / clients’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and implement required upgrades for enhancing existing software (ERP & STOW) components and adding new features based on business requirements.
- Review and upgrade application UI/UX interface and server-side architecture to mitigate and prevent lagging of applications.
- In conjunction with other team members, ensure seamless user interaction flows on both web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement responsive and innovative user features and applications including partnering with team mates to evolve better solutions to existing interface platforms
- Ensure cross platform optimization for web, android and apple platforms
- Create and maintain database designs for data storage and processing
- Design, Develop and implement effective APIs
Skills, Competencies and Requirements:
Functional Competencies/Requirements:
- Degree and / or diploma in computer science, engineering, coding or software development
- Minimum of Five (5) years verifiable experience in back-end and front-end software development
- Verifiable experience developing and managing web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in multiple Back-end and Front-end programming languages, such as JavaScript, CSS, PHP, C#, JQUERY, HTML, Python etc., with ability to render server-side and client-side contents
- Familiarity with database technology, such as, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle etc.
- Ability to develop and interpret software and data analysis reports
- Strong Leadership skill and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship management
- STRONG personal Integrity that is attested by character witnesses
