JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking for an experienced Gateway NOC Engineer that will be responsiblefor ensuring operational efficiency and running the NOC for the carrier services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring and analysis of international trafficin and out of the network.
- Routing configuration for international traffic.
- Troubleshooting escalations from partners and raising troubletickets as the need raises.
- Interconnection with local and international carriers.
- Routine CLI and qualitytests to top destination.
- Monitoring of international trunks.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR AND DELIVERABLES
- Troubleshooting on issues discovery and resolution.
- Timely escalation of issues.
- Routing of carriers correctly.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 7 – 10 years of experience in the telecommunication with a carrier or and operator.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Technical knowhow and understanding of the telecom business.
- Ability to work independently.
- Technical management qualifications.
- Ability to work during night hours
