Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Google Ad Grants Specialist with proven experience managing and optimizing Google Ad Grants accounts for nonprofit organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique policies, limitations, and strategic nuances of the Ad Grants program. The ideal candidate will know how to fully leverage the $10,000 monthly ad credit, delivering meaningful results and mission-aligned visibility for our organization.
- This is not a typical Google Ads role — we're looking for someone who understands nonprofit advertising from the ground up and can manage campaigns with precision, strategy, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Google Ad Grants campaigns, ensuring compliance with all Google for Nonprofits policies
- Conduct keyword research, including defining high-impact keywords and setting up negative keywords to maximize effectiveness
- Navigate and apply the specific rules and restrictions of the Ad Grants program
- Structure campaigns to maximize the use of the $10,000 ad credit while maintaining high click-through and quality scores
- Create and monitor compelling ad copy and landing pages to improve conversion rates
- Provide weekly or monthly reports with performance insights and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to align campaigns with organizational goals
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record managing Google Ad Grants campaigns for nonprofits
- Strong experience with keyword strategy, including negative keywords
- Solid understanding of Google Ad Grants policies and limitations
- Ability to consistently spend and optimize the $10,000 monthly credit
- Proficient with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Ads Certification (especially focused on Search)
- Experience working directly with nonprofit organizations
- Familiarity with nonprofit digital marketing strategies
- Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion optimization
