Description

Social Media Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify target audiences and create content tailored to engage them effectively.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize strategies.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Develop multimedia content including text, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting and timely responses to audience interactions.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster a sense of community and build relationships with the organization's followers or fans.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor conversations and feedback about the organization, addressing both positive and negative comments appropriately.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor social media metrics and analytics to track performance and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Use insights to optimize content strategies and improve engagement and reach.
  • Prepare regular reports highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

Social Media Advertising:

  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to reach specific target audiences and achieve campaign objectives.
  • Monitor ad performance, adjust targeting parameters, and optimize ad creatives for better results.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels, ensuring that messaging and visuals align with the organization's brand guidelines.
  • Protect the organization's reputation by monitoring for any negative mentions or brand infringements and taking appropriate action.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, public relations, and customer service to align social media efforts with overall organizational strategies.
  • Coordinate with external partners, influencers, or agencies as needed for content creation or campaign collaborations.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, features, and algorithm changes on social media platforms.
  • Experiment with new tools, formats, and strategies to keep the organization ahead of the curve.

Crisis Management:

  • Be prepared to handle social media crises or negative publicity effectively, with a focus on transparency, empathy, and quick resolution.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines regarding social media usage, data privacy, and advertising standards.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields
  • 1-3 years experience
