Our client is a creative, impact-driven organisation operating within the music, culture, and youth development space. They work on high-visibility projects that require exceptional storytelling, visual clarity, and creative energy.
They are seeking a Deck Designer who specialises in presentation design, not brochures or flyers. This role is strictly for designers who understand how to bring ideas to life through dynamic, visually engaging slide decks that look excellent across devices and presentation settings.
This role requires a strong eye for detail, layout discipline, and the ability to turn concepts into compelling visual narratives.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design high-quality slide decks for presentations, pitches, and stakeholder engagements
- Translate ideas, concepts, and written content into visually engaging slides
- Ensure decks are clean, modern, well-paced, and not text-heavy
- Maintain visual consistency across decks (typography, spacing, colour, hierarchy)
- Optimise decks for viewing across different screens and devices
- Revise designs based on feedback while maintaining creative integrity
- Deliver work within agreed timelines and quality expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience designing presentation decks (pitch decks, keynote decks, proposals, etc.)
- Strong portfolio showing slide deck examples (mandatory)
- Excellent understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to simplify complex ideas visually
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
