Job Description:

As a Graphics Design Tutor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and instructing students in various aspects of graphic design, from the fundamentals to advanced techniques. You will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, ensuring that students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the field of graphic design. This position requires a deep passion for design, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct one-on-one and group tutorial sessions to provide in-depth guidance and feedback to students on graphic design concepts and projects.
2. Develop and deliver structured lessons, workshops, and instructional materials, including handouts, presentations, and assignments.
3. Evaluate and assess students' work, providing constructive critiques and suggestions for improvement.
4. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and software and incorporate them into the curriculum to ensure students are learning the latest design techniques.
5. Offer support and mentorship to students, helping them build a portfolio and prepare for a career in graphic design.
6. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to maintain a cohesive and effective learning environment.
7. Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance, and provide regular reports to management.
8. Act as a resource for students, answering questions and providing guidance on design-related topics.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
3. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
6. Passion for design and a commitment to helping students succeed.
7. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
